Our Polish distributor Michal Nowacki has sent us this report from one of Polands downhill events which was organised by Piotr Bogdanowicz. Michal actually won this event aboard his Lush Spooky!!! These guys have not had many downhill events in Poland yet, but if this event is anything to go by, they should be having plenty more!!
Thanks to Mike for the write up and to T-Moth and Mike's girlfriend for the photos. Poland could be one to watch out for in the next few years...
On the 27th of April on the perfect tarmac of Burow near Cracov we held the 1st official downhill race in Poland. There were 30 riders and also skaters from Austria and the funky team from Czech Republik. The race was one big surprise for everyone because 2 years ago no one was riding with leathers and helmets, except maybe Streetlugers. There was a great atmosphere, great weather and for the first time on the race track we had haybails. This race showed that the polish scene is groving and we are already looking for new roads, where the tarmac will snake like an anaconda high into the mountains.
