Here's a cool move that's almost as old as skateboarding itself. Super surfy, it goes on hard or soft wheels, long and short boards and is fun almost anywhere - even on the flat! But best learn it on a bank first cos it's easiest there.

The Next Step: Once you've got them dialled, you'll start to push them out a bit. This trick is all about style - do it well and you'll have a super stylish move for all occasions. Try to see how fast and smooth you can make it, or how far off the board you can get. There are so many variations - try a 360 or 540 bert, a bert with two hands, berts onto the coping, grabbing the rail with either hand, shuvit berts... this trick has been around for ever but still feels and looks as good as the day it was invented.
