The Kilima has been our high-end pintail for many years now, and the latest incarnation is the result of a hell of a lot of miles of skateboarding. The 2010 Kilima does it all - carves like a snowboard, stable like a speedboard thanks to the long wheelbase, chuck it sideways and it'll slide well too thanks to a ton of concave. We've stiffened the deck up to improve on-edge handling, widened the foot platform and added race-tactical sharp top rails for a secure foothold. Bigger wheel cutouts minimise wheelbite, and a solid construction creates a strong deck. It's halfway between a full-on race deck and a cruiser longboard - exactly what freeride skateboarding is all about.
We've been making the Kilima with a drop-through mount for a few years now. It gives you a lower centre of gravity, and also means that the deck pivots around the centre of the truck pivot axis, which is much more stable, so you can run your trucks looser. Drop-through setups slide easier too - so you end up with a setup that turns hard, is stable at speed, and slides well for corner braking and safe stopping. It's an incredible ride. If you've not tried drop through, you need to give it a go.
Built complete with Sabre trucks, Lush ABEC 7 Speed series bearings, and Cult Death Ray wheels. Doesn't get any better.
