Charge into battle with the new 2009 Kilima! made with our new maple and walnut wood composite. The 'Archer' Kilima has broader shoulders for stability and tactical manouvers, steeper concave for evasive action and secure footing, a longer wheelbase for high speed confidence and epic drifting. The dimensions have changed from last years model, to 44x10, giving a tardis like standing platform. Improved wheel cut-outs minimise wheelbite, and the sharp rails offer grip and traction, giving you a new level of downhill adventure. Our new maple and walnut construction is stronger and more reliable than the bamboo from last year, this means a longer lasting flex memory, and more stablity at speed. Longboards just dont get any better! Strap on your chain mail and unleash the dogs of war!
Why drop through? A board built with trucks mounted through the deck as opposed to on the bottom of the deck sits about 2cm lower. This gives you a lower centre of gravity, and also means that the deck pivots around the centre of the truck pivot axis, which is much more stable. It's an incredible ride. If you've not tried drop through, you need to give it a go.
