Lush Longboards ltd is 100% skater owned and operated, unlike a lot of other longboard companies out there. This means several things:
- We know how annoying it is when you order shiny new stuff to play with and it doesn’t turn up on time. So we put a lot of work into our customer service, making sure your new toys arrive as soon as possible and sorting problems out as fast as we can.
- All our boards, from the Kuni right up to the Revolution, whatever their price point, benefit from our (and our riders) skating experience. We have spent a lot of time over the years figuring out what hardware works on what setup, and we've done a lot of mixing and matching to get every board as good as we can for the price.
- We care about the scene, and spend a lot of time promoting and supporting riders, clubs, forums, events, websites, magazines and all the stuff that brings people who share our love of skating big skateboards together. We want the same thing as you – more people to skate with, more closed hills for us to bomb, more opportunities to meet new folk and have fun. Support us and we’ll support you!
The Boards have evolved over the years, developed on the streets, parks and hills of Sheffield and epic downhill runs in the Derbyshire Peak District, the Alps, Pyrenees and whole load of other places to encompass every style of riding from street, sliding, park and bowls, to pure carving, surf style, cruising to the shops and all-out downhill speed.
- The Globe series runs from 33" to 41" - perfect for the style based street, sliding, bowl and park rider. These board are loaded with rider input for a fun and functional ride.
- The heart of the range, the Carve series includes models for commuting, cruising, carving and slashing your way around the black-top, headed by the flagship Kilima, Kisiwa and Samba – each tuned for a highly specific ride. 28" to 55". This range is so diverse that there’s got to be something in here for you…
- The Race series is comprised of three decks designed for the ultimate ride. High-end custom layups, well-researched (read “thrashed”) deck shapes and an eye for detail are a product of our riders having a free-reign in the shaping of these decks, bringing design input from all races and freerides over the world. No compromises and designed by people who really know what they’re doing.
The Staff here all ride and are fully involved in the world of board sports. We've been riding all forms of skateboards for years, and are insistent that every single item that leaves the workshop is something that we would be happy skating ourselves. When we're not skating we're either out mountain biking, surfing, kite surfing, climbing, fishing – we’re not exactly the “stay indoors and watch TV” kind of people.
The Riders are a mixed bunch of skateboarders from around the world, all fuelled by the same passion for riding and spreading the vibe. Whenever it's dry you'll catch our dudes and girls out on the hills or in the bowl, riding and thrashing the latest Lush kit. Every single person in our family desreves way more props that we give them, they are all super cool people. We feel honoured to be able to support them.
